Brisbane slumps while southern cities soar

Brisbane's auction market slumped at the weekend, while markets in the southern capital cities soared.

The number of properties sold under the hammer in Brisbane at the weekend halved, with sales failing to tip $5million - $4.3 million less than the same weekend last year.
